My race today

Holy crap I have no idea where that 400 came from.
I was losing by a good 15 meters to two huge and very respectable runners of color. They were HUGE, and by huge I mean I was INTIMIDATED AS HELL.

and somehow in the last 200 meters I passed, then won by 5+ meters
mad props to those guys though. crazy fast race.
then of course J-White and Austin kicked ass, and Shulte set me up perfectly for my leg.

Video to come.

Thou shalt maketh a post

Night before a relay carnival.
Nothing in particular to be working on.
There is only 3 things on my mind:

1. Blogs. As boring as they might get at times (emphasis on the boring), I have subscribed to 4 of them via RSS and have been reading useless rants on peoples lives for several weeks now. Sometimes I think to myself, "Am I seriously reading this?" But who am I to judge. Some people's lives are much more interesting than my own. So, due to this period of inactivity in my day and sudden interest in blogging, let the literary ensemble proceed.

2. My new Cordoba.
'tis fairly legit. I have severely underrated the sound of nylon strings throughout the years. There is just something about it that makes me think of gypsies. And gypsies are wierd.
But since deriving back to my roots in classical music, my feelings have inverted entirely. When reaching into the G, B and E strings on this guitar, the sound is of nothing comparable. It has such a deep, rich tone to it, that I cannot even fathom going back to a steel-stringed guitar unless playing a Jack Johnson tune or something of the sorts.
I am also running out of songs to play, as it is extremely hard to find something to play on it without coming across a transposed death metal song. Seriously, what? Not to mention, most songs I am trying to play here date back at least 100 years.
But it's worth the search.

3. Well, I didn't actually have a 3rd thing in mind, but I might as well come up with one anyways. I just felt that 2 wasn't long enough to be considered a blog, and wasn't short enough to be considered a single-event statement.

There you go, folks. Lets end this months ramble on that note.
